Jezreel Expedition 2014

That is me hard at work XD
I know its been a long time since I been back from Israel, but with the move and job hunting almost forgot to write a blog post.

From June 7-20, I traveled to Israel to join in on the Jezreel Expedition again. The program is run by University of Evansville and the University of Haifa. This was my second year participating in the archaeological excavation and it was a lot of fun.

I wish I could of gone for all five weeks, but I lacked the funding so was only able to do the two weeks. It is ok because it was a lot of fun. The new locations of the excavation led to many new discoveries from Middle Bronze Age to Iron Age Israel. I can not reveal too much information about was discovered, but once articles are post I will share the link with everyone. :)

I always love traveling and Israel has been one of the top places that I loved to visit. I even got to explore Jerusalem again and see new parts of the city I missed last year. Also got to do a little birthday shopping for my mother.

It was also nice to see the staff again. I really enjoy talking to a lot of the staff members on the Jezreel Expedition and learn from them. I am sad that I am probably not going to return next year, but I have a new adventure plan for next summer and hopefully I can pull it off. But I do plan to return to the Jezreel Expedition before the program ends. Untill the next adventure, sayonara!

Ian and I the night before we all left Israel.
